Not a big story in a game in Jeonju where 7th rankedEgis (15-19) were defeated by fourth ranked Sonicboom (20-15) 95-84 on Sunday. Suwon KT looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international guard Hoon Heo (181-1995) fired 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American center Rayshaun Hammonds (206-1998, college: Georgia) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Four Sonicboom players scored in double figures. Jun-yong Choi produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass) added 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sonicboom have a solid series of four victories in a row. Suwon KT maintains fourth place with 20-15 record. Loser Egis keep the seventh position with 19 games lost. Suwon KT will meet league's leader Seoul Knights on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KCC Egis will play against LG Sakers (#3) in Changwon and hope to secure a win.
